Big Business began as Macintosh accounting software. Its creators hailed from Mac computer sales. At the time, there were scant Mac offerings that provided inventory control with sales and accounting. Fewer still met the needs of the growing small business by connecting multiple users and sharing business data over a network. Big Business was created to meet these needs and more.
The PC was not long in matching the Mac's graphical interface and user friendliness. Big Business was re-created for Windows, offering a Windows accounting software solution as simple and elegant as Mac software.
Big Business continues to support the latest versions of the MacOS and Windows, offering users a choice and the flexibility of a mixed environment. Big Business Servers now run on Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and soon Windows 2003. All Servers offer cross platform support connecting users on Macs and users on Windows98 or higher.
