BigBusiness 16 is being readied for next year and the next advancement in networking.
This means building it now, to test, before the final Database is even available (2026). So it is an Alpha built on a Beta, as it were, but an early look at whatever comes next.
What is being readied for is AI anywhere, that changes Systems and Apps you rely on. BigBusiness had some issues with Office 365, for example, right when Copilot started.
Apple Mail lets you drag single messages to BigBusiness and drop on the Docs folder. This attaches them to any entry in BigBusiness so you or others can open, read, reply.
On macOS this requires your permission for BigBusiness to control your Apple Mail. Please click Allow on the dialog pictured. This pops up the first time you drag email.
If you don't see the Docs folder on each window in BigBusiness check your MyPrefs.
Local Network is protected by new macOS. BigBusiness 16 Server needs permission to broadcast availability and allow connection from Clients, so please Allow if asked.
Rounded Buttons in Icon Prefs like Classic or Xi needed more space to display fully.
This fix is in the new Database in BigBusiness 16 and is not fixable in BigBusiness 15.
Icon sets that do not use rounded corners are not affected by this problem. Choose your Icon Prefs in My Prefs founr on the Employee toolbar or on the Contact toolbar.
Windows Installer is updated and tested for compression or other options to simplify.
Race Pace is a great way to describe the current rate of changes in personal computing. It doesn't matter if the race is chips, or AI, or payments, or agentic something or other.
BigBusiness lets you assemble an onsite collection of personal computers to sell stuff. You need a place for your stuff (Carlin), and computers need security (Nadella, Cook).
Therefore you need your BigBusiness to handle race-pace security changes seamlessly, keeping the old working indefinitely, while building new to easily replace when needed.
